Zwei – Toxxin’ (Lip on My Prince theme) lyrics + translation

LoMP

Oh. hello. I’m still alive. xD

I have a confession to make. I haven’t listened to a single volume of Lip on My Prince. I just encountered this song while I was listening to Rejet Sound Collection and was instantly hooked when I heard it. So I guess it’s time to listen to the drama CDs heehee ❤

Also working on the other songs on Rejet Sound Collection. I would have been done days ago IF YOWAMUSHI PEDAL HASN’T TAKEN OVER MY LIFE UGHHH *laughcries*

Anyway, here we go~

[Kindan Vampire / ramillete] Ao honnou lyrics and translation

Image

Kindan Vampire vol. 3 is actually my favorite in the series! The protagonist for this volume is Rudolf von Weiseheldenburg. Like the title says, he’s a knight who’s fought through a lot of wars. Hence, the imagery of war and destruction in the song.

I love Rudolf to bits and pieces because he’s the typical big, intimidating guy (um, he’s a soldier!) but is actually a cute sweet teddy bear inside~ kyaa (*/u/*) Those types of characters win me over all the time!

And, I really like this song. :’D It’s a little bit rock-ish but the violins made the song just so beautiful. *u*

[Kindan Vampire / Ramillete] Kanata Nostalgia lyrics and translation

kurobara cover

I took a loooOOOOoot of liberties with the translation. Please just read the notes if you’re
interested. And if I missed some references (I get the feeling that I did), feel free to comment.

Also, thank you Shinji for helping me out in those two lines that I was stuck in for days xD

Kindan Vampire theme song translations

Image

Kindan Vampire is another Drama CD series that has a special place in my heart. The voice cast for the series is stellar and the voice acting was really good. And it’s in dummy head mic! (*/ω\*)

The background music was really pretty too! And it has theme songs! The songs are composed by SunaP and sung by Jack! 😀 Hello, happy marriage of fandoms again! SunaP was PointFive’s director (PointFive pretty much made me stay in the utattemita community) and Jack is one of the first few utaite that I knew. And hahaha I used to stay up late to the wee hours of the morning just listening to Asamack radio! (Asamack radio is his regular broadcast with Asamaru)

I tell you, their broadcast is fujoshi fodder. They’re married. I’ll allow no one to contest that. xD

Anyway, I’ll be translating some of the songs from the series, at least those that don’t have translations yet. 🙂

[Tsukiuta April] Sakura to tomo ni kimi dake wo. lyrics

tsukiuta4

Tsukiuta is a collaboration project between seiyuu and Vocaloid producers. A disc is released monthly, with a mini drama, an original song and a rearranged song.

This is one of my favorite series, simply because I’m a fan of Vocaloid and seiyuu. It’s like a happy marriage of fandoms. Heehee. 😀 Although to be quite honest, I haven’t listened to any of the drama tracks yet…. I’ve only listened to the songs…. orz

I decided to translate this song because the song is just beautiful but just so sad. What I get from this song is that much like cherry blossoms, love can be a beautiful yet ephemeral thing.

ChouchouP’s one of the first few producers that I got to know. He always incorporates really pretty piano melodies to his songs. This song is no exception. 🙂

And haaaahhhhh~ Hosoyan~ his voice is perfect for the song. 😀 (biased lol)

Anyways, onwards the translation~

Mitsugetsu Un.Deux.Trois lyrics

This was one of the songs that influenced me to name my blog as such. 🙂 It’s a very beautiful, sweet love song. Dateken really makes nice jazzy songs.
